Fix the technical baseline
Compare exact models and configurations. A brochure range is not an order specification. Identify attachments, wear parts, control options, electrical interfaces and any inspection documents in the proposed scope.
Separate commercial assumptions
Ask the supplier to state the currency, quantity basis, delivery term and named place, packing, validity, payment milestones and estimated lead time. Clarify which items are excluded. Do not assume that a machine price covers freight, local charges or installation.
Confirm the destination requirements
Give the supplier the destination and intended use. Have the importer and relevant specialists confirm applicable documentation and market requirements. A domestic engine classification or general certificate is not automatically evidence of acceptance in another market.
Plan support before shipment
Agree the warranty scope, reporting procedure, parts identification and technical-document package. Request packing dimensions and weights for the final configuration, shipping documents and a named contact for unresolved issues. Keep commitments in the order rather than relying on general website language.
